Black seed oil is extracted by gently cold-pressing whole black seeds (Nigella sativa) — a process that preserves the natural compounds and full-bodied flavor that have made this oil treasured across cultures for centuries.
The taste is unlike any other oil: warm, peppery, herbal, with a slight bitterness that mellows on the palate. Traditionally taken by the teaspoon — alone, mixed with honey, or stirred into warm water — black seed oil has been a fixture in Islamic Tibb, Ayurvedic, and Unani wellness traditions for generations. It is mentioned by name in classical Persian medical texts dating back to Avicenna.
In the kitchen, drizzle it over hummus, labneh, or roasted vegetables. It is not for high-heat cooking — its flavor is best appreciated raw or added at the end. Many also use it topically, massaging a few drops into hair or skin.
Our oil is cold-pressed from carefully selected seeds, unrefined, and bottled in small batches to preserve potency. Store away from heat and light.
